Historic Clayton Enterprise Newspapers Available to the Public
Clayton Public Library has many physical copies of the Clayton Enterprise newspaper available for the public to take home. The collection spans from the 1930s through the 1990s, with many issues showing the wear of time but still holding incredible historical value.
These newspapers capture key moments in Clayton’s community history—local events, milestones, and stories that shaped the town. Within their pages are familiar names, family stories, and glimpses into everyday life over the decades.
Community members are invited to browse the available copies and take any they wish to preserve. While the physical papers may be fragile, the memories and history they hold remain a strong link to Clayton’s past.
